The drive is 3-4 hours each way, and I think it may be more time efficient to find a low-cost hotel in the area and stay overnight between some shifts. My meetings are in the Allen Center, but the hotels near there (Doubletree and Hyatt) are both pretty pricey ($250+ per night). I was looking at the Alden, Magnolia, Lancaster, or Club Quarters. Are those in decent areas and is there anything to do around there? I’d like to stay outside of downtown and just drive in, but i think parking in that area is a mess (and expensive).
