I’ve looked at all the priceline/expedia sites online and I found some good deals but they aren’t as close as I would like them. Anyone from or familar with the area know of of any cheap non-chain motels/hotels I could look into? Any help would be great!

There are really not too many cheap places to stay in the area because of the casinos. I’d look for any hotels in the Norwich area, it’s close to the casino but far enough away that you might be able to find something in your budget range.

check out the bellissimo grande hotel. we stayed here recently and it was great. much cheaper than staying at foxwoods too. and to cut through the deals, you should check out to book your trip. the site is an aggregator which means it takes offers from various online sites and shows you the best deals. good luck!
