Houston Texas Hotels?

Anyone know any cheap, but decent hotels near central-ish Houston? …….. preferably under $50/night. and by decent, i mean, clean, and stuff like that…… This might matter………..i would be staying at the hotel on the night of October 12th

   You might want to look into some Holiday Inns or Motel 6s.

   By central Houston, are you talking about Downtown? We really don’t have a “centralized” area. Also, it’ll be extremely hard for you to find a hotel for under $50 Downtown. Most visitors either spend a lot for the Hiltons and the Hyatts, or they sleep in hotels outside of the area and rent a car.

   use priceline.com!! I swear I use it all the time in Houston! Got to the name your own price part… put in that you want a 4 or 5 star hotel and the area of town… I got to stay at the Sheraton next to the Galleria…. it’s normally $180 a night… I got it for $50! You have to pay before you know what hotel it is… but any 4 or 5 star hotel is going to be very nice!!!
