We are going to Vegas in mid-March and I was wondering if we should try to book rooms last minute (a few weeks before) for the lowest rates? We aren’t terribly picky about which hotel, as long as it’s on the Strip. Does this work or do you have other suggestions? Thank you!

I suggest that you go to travelocity.com…….they have good prices (lower than prices.com). I have used them and was very satisfied.

Definitely book your room as soon as you can and as soon as you’ve decided — the odds of prices dropping at any particular point are slim. Most properties set their prices a year in advance!
Head over to and click the “Check Availability” button. Choose your dates, submit the form, then sort the results by price — that’ll put the cheapest places first.
You can then read about each hotel, view pics & book online!
