I live in Houston but am doing volunteer work in Corpus Christi. The drive is 3-4 hours each way, and I think it may be more time efficient to find a low-cost hotel in the area and stay overnight between some shifts. Are there any hotels in Corpus Christi that are cheap, but still in a safe area? Thanks.

You can definitely find a decent hotel for a low price. .Your best bet is BookMe.com. You can compare ALL the reputable travel sites, and save money. Good luck!
