I have never really found one web site to be the best.
A lot of sights claim to be the lowest or best. But they often have hidden fee
What I might suggest is to check your airline web site. Nearly all have a site for Hotel bookings, and they give you a very good deal. It does not need to be a tour, just book the hotel of your choice
You have to have an idea of where you want to go before you begin checking out hotel prices. Here’s the Lonely Planet’s web site for Hawaii.
Read through what’s there and decide which area you think you’d like. Then go to rates and info on Hawaiian hotels and for reviews of hotels and prices by people who stayed there.
Hope this helps. Have a great time!
