I always use wotif.com.au. Only book up to a week before . If you take a look now you will see you can always get in . I’ve had some terrific deals top hotels for about one third the price. Look out for the fire sales . There site gives you a choice of Sydney and out skirts to CBD. If you choose to go out of the CBD the train service is excellent Around Darling Harbour is really good but you may pay a bit more but not always so. depending how busy it is at the time of booking
