Where to stay in Houston, TX?
Hotel Dealsjeffh asked:
I need a hotel in Houston, Texas for the end of March for a few days.
I know nothing about the geographical layout of the city but I would like something of a reasonable standard in an area not too far from everything the city has to offer?
The key thing though….. price (as always!). I don’t want to break the bank so all advice appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

What kind of things will you be doing in Houston? That would help point you in the right part of town to stay.

I would suggest something around the Galleria area. There are mid priced hotels in that area such as Days Inn, Comfort Suites, Best Western, etc. Just make sure when you call them that you request the Galleria area.
Also, you may want to make your reservations soon as there is the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo in March that lasts until the 22nd so if you plan on being here around that time, you should call soon as the hotels can get full.
