Im having to stay in a kinda dingy cheap hotel but thats not a problem. my question is.. someone else in my family is paying for the room (something thats not going on the trip) if i reserve the room with their credit card do i have to have the card present to check in? because i wont. what if i have a letter from them (notarized if i have to) that says i have authority to use it? or is it even going to be a big deal? our last names are the same.. if that matters
